The level of trust that people show in institutions says a lot about how the government is running the country. And according to an annual international report by the Edelman Trust Barometer, the United Arab Emirates stands in the third position for the level of trust in the government. UAE Stands At 3rd Position Out Of 28 Countries
Yes, according to a report published by the Edelman Trust Barometer, the United Arab Emirates was ranked in the third position out of 28 countries. The UAE is behind China at 83 per cent and Indonesia at 75 per cent. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that this includes trust in the government, businesses, non-governmental organisations, and the media. As it happens, the highest-performing institution was the government sector in the UAE, which came out as the most trustworthy at a whopping 85 per cent. Moreover, this was followed by the business sector at 78 per cent, NGOs at 70 per cent, and the media at 62 per cent, as mentioned in a report by the National News.

Saudi Arabia Also Performed Well
As it happens, Saudi Arabia also performed well in the survey. It stood at the fifth position with an average of 71 per cent trust level. However, it’s worth noting that the lowest level of trust was recorded in Argentina at 42 per cent, Japan at 38 per cent, and South Korea at 36 per cent. We’re hardly surprised with this result, as this is not the first time the UAE has performed well on such surveys.
