Located in the city of Gujrat, the Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue. The statue is 182 metres tall and depicts the former deputy Prime Minister of India, Sardar Vallabhai Patel. It was built to pay homage to Sardar who is also known as the architect of Independent India. There are a lot of attractions in and around this humongous statue of Kevadia, Check them out:

1. Visit Sardar Sarovar Dam

The Sardar Sarovar dam supplies water to Maharashtra, Gujrat and Madhya Pradesh. Tourists from various countries come here to watch the majestic beauty of the dam and the large reservoir. The best time to visit this dam as such would be monsoons because that is when the floodgates open and gives you a sight to behold. 

2. Laser Light And Sound Show

There is a Laser Light and Sound Show organized at the Statue of Unity. It is a beautiful projection mapping show and runs for about 30 minutes conducted using high-resolution projectors. The 182 metres tall statue is the canvas where light depicts the life of Ironman of India.

3. Tent City Stay

In the Kevadia Colony, there is a resort known as the Narmada Tent City. These tents are very luxurious, air-conditioned, with modern amenities, private washrooms and decent furniture. Staying in this tent city is an experience in itself which one should try and not miss.
