This 50-Year-Old Ancestral Home Turned Cafe Is A Must-Visit In Jaipur

We all can understand the attachment one has with their ancestral home. The home has seen all of your family’s special moments and witnessed every downfall as well. Every corner of the house has a story to tell. Sanyogita and Swati, sisters from Jaipur felt the same connection to their ancestral home. And this connection made them convert their ancestral home into their dream project space and how. These sisters converted their 50-year-old ancestral house into a beautiful cafe and it’s gorgeous. 

Ancestral Home Converted Into O’Baque Cafe in Jaipur

Sanyogita Rathore and Swati Rathore are two sisters from Jaipur who converted their beautiful 50-year-old house into a lovely vivacious cafe. One of the sisters of the duo, Sanyogita is a chef and an alumnus of a well known Academy of Baking Science and Pastry Arts in India, Lavonne. She quit her job and the sisters together launched their dream project, O’Baque Cafe in Jaipur. They wanted to retain the character of the house and played around what already existed as it was built by their grandfather. They finally created a modern airy cafe with pieces and interior that actually makes the space look like a Pinterest Board.

O’Baque Cafe In Jaipur By Two Passionate Jaipur Sisters

The very moment you enter O’Baque, you are bound to be mesmerised by its beauty. The whole structure and build of the cafe itself brings in the amazing vibe. The interiors of the space are simple yet vivacious with pastel colours and pretty corners. The choice of the smallest of pieces be it furniture or frames or the little potted plants simply pulls all your worries and stress away. The space specialises in cakes, pastries and savouries. The cafe offers lip smacking and  mouth watering cakes , pastries, cheesecakes, doughnuts, macrons, garlic buns, savouries, bagels, brownies and so much more all made with love. The food here will surely not only fill your stomach but also your heart.
