This Aircraft Is Set To Fly The World’s Longest Journey

The Ultra Long Range A350 XWB took off from the Airbus’ headquarters and has successfully completed its first flight.

What Is It?

The Ultra Long Range version of the Airbus’ A350 XWB has a range of nearly 18,000 km and can fly for 20 hours non-stop. The plane took from the Airbus’ headquarters in Toulouse for a short flight above the South of France.

What’s In It?

The aircraft will perform a record-breaking journey from Singapore to New York which is set to be the longest commercial flight, later this year. The A350 ULR is said to be the most advanced airplane for many years to come.

The A350 XWB is the future of air travel, it features the latest aerodynamic design, carbon fibre fuselage and wings and new fuel-efficient Rolls-Royce engines. All of this results in 25 percent reduction in fuel burn and emissions and lower maintenance costs.
