The year witnessed a 120% rise in the demand for luxury dining. Demand for fine dining increased by 105%. And for the third year in a row, Delhi emerged as the Dining Capital of India for 2021 with an average billing of ₹2670, which was higher than the average value of ₹1907 in 2020.
Delhi Becomes Dining Capital Of India, Bangalore Becomes Liquor Capital
Bangalore has been ranked the liquor capital of India for 2021, and it gulped down 50,000 litres of liquor in December itself. Also, while Delhi has got the position of India’s dining capital by grabbing 32% of diners in 2021, Bangalore has bagged the second position with 18% of diners received.

Delhi’s Connaught Place Found To Be The Top Eating Location For 2021
Connaught Place in Delhi, which is home to oodles of cafes, restaurants, pubs and street food joints, has been found to be the top eating out location for 2021. The next in the rank was Mumbai’s Lower Parel, followed by Bangalore’s Whitefield, Chennai’s Thyagaraya Nagar and Kolkata’s Salt Lake. Around 38% of diners have loved Butter Chicken, Dal Makhni and Naan. 18% of diners have opted for Chinese and 16% went for Continental, as per reports.

Udaipur Got Maximum Reservations For Table For 2
Udaipur seems to have seen the most number of dining dates by receiving maximum reservations for ‘Table for 2’. Families and friend groups seem to have headed to Agra and Ludhiana, as these places have received maximum ‘Table for 4’ reservations.
