No, we are not talking about a road trip to Sharjah, Fujairah, or even Oman; they have embarked on a journey to China from Dubai! Driving an overland jeep that’s replete with all the essential amenities, including a tent wherein they can sleep.

Dubai resident, Kate Lindley and her partner have taken upon the journey of their lifetime. They began the road trip on April 27, and are currently on the 97th day of the trip. For this adventurous overland journey, they have already passed through the countries of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus, and now they’re currently in Georgia. The overland jeep that they’re travelling in also has a fridge where they can stock food! During this whole journey, they’re also trying to be sustainable.

They Have Plans To Reach China By The End Of The Year

With plans of reaching China in December of this year, the couple has been documenting their journey on their Instagram accounts. Giving us serious travel inspiration, they have been sharing many posts that include everything from the beautiful beaches of Paphos to the stunning landscapes of AlUla. This development comes after recently two Emirati friends embarked on a road trip from Abu Dhabi to London, covering 10+ countries in 30 days. They embarked on this journey to show the power of Emirati passports and their love of adventure.
