The Residents Reached Out To The Police For Help
Reportedly, the residents tried to explain to couples not to make their regular spot. When this did not work, they came up with the idea of the signboard to prevent public displays of affection from couples. Initially, the residents shot videos of the couples and asked the local corporator for help. However, with no response from the police, the residents decided to do something on their own.

Since the marking, many people have come here to take selfies. Meanwhile, some pointed out the lack of space in Mumbai to spend time together. Besides after the lockdown, sitting in promenades and gardens is not allowed. Therefore, there is an immense crunch in the city. Open spaces like roads are the only option left for couples.
