Indians habitually give a desi twist to foreign dishes. This twist comes with loads of spices and sauces to make it more palatable for Indians. This is especially true for Indo-Chinese cuisine. Turns out that even the famous Vikas Khanna prefers Indian Chinese and thinks it is the most delicious cuisine. On this episode of Tere Gully Mein, he met our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a candid interview in the lanes of Bandra East and explored its great restaurants.
According To Chef Vikas Khanna, Indian Chinese Food Is The Best!
Our guest was the esteemed chef so the conversations were bound to be about food! So, Kamiya asked Vikas about his favourite cuisine in the entire world. He was quick to respond with, “I think Chinese in India for me is most delicious.”
Vikas continued that Indians cannot stop themselves from adding multiple masalas when it comes to Indian Chinese. After learning about his love for Indian Chinese, it was safe to say that our decision to take him to Chef’s Platter was a hit! Right after the topic of his favourite cuisine ended, folks at Chef’s Platter came out with mouthwatering tandoori momos, fried rice, noodles, Manchurian, honey chilli potato and so much more. Talk about perfect timing!
We ordered some Indian food too as we couldn’t resist the temptation. Kebabs, rice, dal makhani and more were set on the table.
