Here’s How You Can Make This Dish At Home:
Chef Dhiraj Pokale has shared all the steps to follow to make drumstick paratha at home. It is quite a simple process and can be cooked quite easily.
- Wash drumsticks, cut them into small pieces, and boil them for some time in a pressure cooker.
- Once the pieces are boiled well, take a masher and mash the boiled veggies. Make sure you do not remove the boiled vegetable stock.
- Strain out the liquid properly and mix it once with a spoon.
- Next, add some salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, asafoetida (hing), ginger garlic paste, thecha, sesame, coriander leaves, wheat flour, and oil.
- Ensure you knead the flour well with all the ingredients. Knead until you get a smooth texture and the dough looks ready to be rolled on a rolling pin.
- Sprinkle some flour on the board and roll the dough balls into desired shapes. You can even add some in between and roll once again.
- In the last step, fry the paratha in a pan and relish with chutney and sauce.
You can definitely add drumsticks to your diet as these are a great source of protein, fibre, and vitamins. In fact, diabetes patients can also eat sabji made with this vegetable. Not just by cooking, people can also eat raw drumsticks. It is excellent for boosting immunity as well.
