In the world of Indian podcasts, Prakhar Gupta is a well-known name. Known as Prakhar ke Pravachan, his thought-provoking podcasts don’t shy away from unfiltered conversations and dive deep into the subject matter specialised by his interviewees. On a new episode of Tere Gully Mein, we visited Prakhar Gupta’s den, explored the vibrant streets of Faridabad with him and checked out his favourite haunts. While talking to us, Prakhar revealed the most desi thing he has ever done in the USA.
Prakhar Gupta Talks About His Time In The USA
Prakhar Gupta met us for a stroll along the gullies of Faridabad, apart from letting us get a sneak peek of the fascinating world of podcasting. We went on a raw, real and riveting ride with the man known for his razor-sharp intellect. Prakhar spoke about his passion for psychology, culture and self-awareness apart from his favourite guests. Moreover, he took us to Red Chilli, his favourite momo spot and the city’s cosiest Italian diner, Cafe Parmesan.
While munching on momos with us, Prakhar Gupta shared about his adventures in the USA. The podcaster had shifted for academic purposes. We wanted to know if Prakhar Gupta ever faced any cultural shocks in the States. He revealed that as a 21-year-old, he thought highly of his intellect and looks until he joined college in the USA. That’s when he met people of different age groups who he found to be smarter and fitter than he was. “I was just blown,” he said as he learnt to articulate his thoughts better.

The Most Desi Thing He Did Abroad
What’s the most desi thing Prakhar did in the USA? “I converted all the foreigners into desis. I think I’m the glowing representation of Indian culture and tourism. I’m great at extracting the Indianness and dharmic side of people, which they probably have but aren’t aware of it,” he chuckled. Prakhar Gupta even admitted to teaching foreigners about their gothra. The podcaster stressed the importance of educating people about Indian culture, as many Indians feel inferior when they travel abroad due to the way the media often portrays the country. He spoke about the important of walking into any room with confidence and educating people about what India has to offer.
