Only 10 People Will Be Selected For This Offer For Now

Besides that, a property will be given to the chosen people that will support them. They will be paid AED 18744 per month for the first three years. Along with that, the town council will also give them AED 85452 (€20,000) to start a business venture in the village.

Well, that’s not it! People applying for this should also bear in mind that the property is not rent-free! Residents will have to pay a ‘symbolic’ rent as well, which Santavicca and the other village authorities have to still work out as to what is symbolic here. The scheme was launched on October 15 and since them over 1,500 applicants have applied. But to make sure that the right person gets this opportunity, the town council will narrow it down to 10 people or just five couples.  However, the mayor has assured that numbers will be increased gradually.
