The ambience is quirky & simple and can accommodate about 15 to 20 people at any given time.

What Is It?

Once Upon A Bite is a new budget-friendly restaurant located in Karama that offers some tempting Indian street food. What caught our eye were the options of the all-time favourite Maggi! The restaurants serve Street Style Maggi for AED 12, Egg Bhurji Maggi for AED 15 & Chicken Sausage Maggi for AED 15. Noodle lovers take note, they even serve noodles in a roll (AED19) so it’s easier to eat noodles on the go! Accompany all that with Masala Cola for AED12 & no more missing India! The concept is also street food like which means you will have to place your orders at the counters and pick them up too most of the time.

What Else?

The restaurant also claims to give mom’s paranthas a stiff competition and we’ll let you be the judge of that. Apart from the savoury parantha favourites like Aloo, Onion, Gobhi, Egg (AED 14) & Paneer, Chicken Kheema (AED 16), they also serve sweet options like Sweet Gud Parantha & Cheeni Parantha (AED 13). To wash it all down we hear that their Chai hits the right spots from Karak, ginger, saffron to Sulaimani (AED 4). Coffee lovers must try the creamy Shaadi Waali (AED 10) which has chocolate powder on top & we heard is something people come back for.
