Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, formerly Habibganj Railway Station, was renamed in November 2021 in honour of the Gond queen of the 18th century. Operated under the West Central Railway zone, it is the headquarters of the Bhopal railway division.

This station was redeveloped under Indian Railways’ station modernisation programme and is the first station in the country to be run by a private organisation. Rani Kamalapati Railway Station is a stop for some premium trains like the Vande Bharat Express, Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express, and Duronto Express. These trains link Bhopal to key cities in India, further enhancing the station’s significance and usage.
