1. MEFCC To Welcome Artists Behind Marvel & Star Wars Comics

It’s no secret that the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) is making its way to Abu Dhabi in 2024. But did you know that the Filipino artist, Stephen Segovia is making his way to the event? Yes for those who aren’t aware, he is known for his comic illustrations for insanely popular comics, such as Marvel, Batman, Star Wars, X-Men, and Moon, to name a select few.

This news comes as the region’s largest pop festival tickets are already up for sale. Yes, VIP tickets are now on sale for the 2024 edition, which will be held from February 9 to 11 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Not to mention, VIP passes are divided into three tiers, namely – Ultimate VIP, Super VIP, and VIP. These can of course be purchased online.

2. New Dates For Khalid Performance Revealed

After his initial concert scheduled for October 27 was cancelled, a new date for his performance has been revealed. Yes, this talented artist known for melodious R&B numbers, will be making his way to the Dubai stage on March 2, 2024. The performance will be happening at the Coca-Cola Arena, and all the tickets purchased for the previously cancelled show will continue to stay valid. While those who haven’t purchased theirs’ yet, they can snap ‘em up on the website of the arena.

3. Emirates Flight Cancellation To Tel Aviv Extended

Dubai-based airlines, Emirates has announced that it has extended its cancellation of flights to Tel Aviv till November 30. Yes, this development comes after the situation continues to be dire in the country. As such, there are several global carriers that are no longer flying to the country due to security reasons. Not to mention, it’s not the first time that the airline has extended its flight cancellation to the city, in the past few days.

4 Tickets To See Santa In Dubai To Go On Sale Soon

Christmas is just a few weeks away. And one of the best ways to spend the holiday is by ensuring that you get to celebrate with your family. Well, the Ski Dubai has revealed its tickets for the jolly good time that guarantees your little one getting to see Santa and his elves. The indoor ski slope will become a winter wonderland, starting from December 1, and go on till December 25.

And if you book online between November 13 and 30, you can even get a fantastic discount of 25 per cent. However, it’s worth mentioning that this discount is only available between the visits dated, December 4 to 8. Moreover, the package also includes a surprise gift made by Santa’s elves, fleece gloves, signature hot chocolate, and a printed photo of the magical moment.

5. Dubai’s RTA completes internal roadwork extension

Always working towards making life for the residents of Dubai better, the Dubai RTA recently took to its account on X to notify people that it has completed the construction of construction of internal roadwork. Yes, the roadwork which sees an extension of 1.9 km within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment project at Al Warqa 4 has finally been done.

As it happens, the work includes the construction of pedestrian paths, sidewalks, entrances to parking lots, and street lighting. This project was a part of the authority’s ongoing commitment towards upgrading the infrastructure of residential areas. Not to mention, the final goal is obviously to raise the standard of living and increase the happiness and satisfaction of the residents.
