Asian Paints ‘Where The Heart Is’ Season 9 Brings 5 Celebrity Home Stories Full Of Warmth & Soul!

Walking into the screening of Asian Paints Where The Heart Is at Jio World Maison, BKC, didn’t feel like attending a preview. It felt like being invited into someone’s living room. The conversations slowed down, and the stories felt personal. Hosted at PVR Mumbai, the event marked the launch of Season 9 of Where The Heart Is by Asian Paints, and it was intimate in the best way possible.

A moment became a memory when Archana Puran Singh graced the event along with her actor husband, Parmeet Sethi and son Ayushmaan Sethi. Watching her on screen is one thing, and hearing her speak about her Madh Island home shared with Parmeet Sethi was totally different.

Their Anglo-Spanish-inspired house was curated to last every era and never designed to follow a fad that would last only for a limited time. It has grown over time, slowly and naturally. It carries family jokes, old memories, and walls that feel lived in. Seeing that translated on screen made shows that Where The Heart Is By Asian Paints isn’t about perfect homes but honest ones.

The Lookbook That Finally Ends Screenshot Culture

Season 9 also launched something genuinely useful: the Where The Heart Is Lookbook. Instead of pausing episodes or zooming into screens for colour references, viewers now get a printed and digital guide that breaks down textures, finishes, palettes, and moods from the show. It bridges the gap between the design you feel and how you translate it for the creation.

Comfort Food, But Make It Design

During the Q&A, I asked Amit Syngle, MD & CEO of Asian Paints, a question rooted in emotion rather than aesthetics. “Just like people return to comfort food after travel, what comfort do they seek in their homes?”

His answer landed quietly but firmly. Comfort, he said, looks different for everyone. Asian Paints doesn’t impose patterns or trends. They listen and ask homeowners what makes them feel at ease, then suggest colours or textures that align with that feeling. The house, he stressed, must feel like the person living in it and not the other way around.

Five Homes, Five Lives, Zero Pretence

Season 9 opens doors to homes belonging to Sonakshi Sinha & Zaheer Iqbal, Gautam Gambhir, Keerthy Suresh & Antony Thattil, Archana & Parmeet, and Aman & Priya Gupta.

Each space reflects rhythm, routine, emotionally-derived elements and personality. Sonakshi’s penthouse balances lively conversations with quiet corners. Gautam’s home is calm, light-filled, and reflective. Keerthy’s Kochi apartment plays with colour instinctively. Aman and Priya’s Gurgaon home embraces movement, mess, and modern family life.

None chase perfection. All feel real.

Why This Season Hits Differently?

This season treats colour as language and not just an ornamental element. Textures tell stories, and walls hold memories. From Nilaya Arc finishes to Royale Play textures, design choices by Asian Paint serves emotion and not just trend charts.

Where The Heart Is Season 9 doesn’t ask viewers to replicate celebrity homes. It invites them to ask a better question: what does comfort look like to you?
