Mumbai, Get Ready! Lollapalooza India 2027 Dates Are Out! Tickets To Go Live On Aug 30

Music lovers, the wait is over! Lollapalooza India is officially returning to Mumbai in January 2027, with its landmark fifth edition set to take place at the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 23 and 24. The two-day celebration will bring together music, food, fashion, art and culture. Scroll on to know more about it.

Lollapalooza India 2027: More Than Just A Music Festival

While the lineup is still under wraps, Lollapalooza India 2027 has promised a “jaw-dropping lineup”, with more than 20 hours of live performances spread across four stages. Over the years, the festival has hosted global names including Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, Sting, OneRepublic, Jonas Brothers, Green Day, Shawn Mendes, Linkin Park and YUNGBLUD, alongside homegrown artists such as DIVINE, Hanumankind, Prateek Kuhad, Bloodywood and Nucleya.

Over the last four editions, Lollapalooza India has grown into a destination for fans travelling from across the country. In fact, nearly two in three festival-goers travelled from outside Mumbai for the 2026 edition, highlighting the growing popularity of music tourism in India. Even more tellingly, 97% of attendees said they intended to return for future editions.

And there’s plenty to explore beyond the stages. From the Lolla Food Park and large-scale art installations to brand experiences and fan-led communities, the festival has turned into a melting pot of music, food, culture and fandom.

The 2027 edition will also continue the festival’s #LollaForChange initiative, with measures including sign-language interpreters, PWD viewing platforms, wheelchair-friendly infrastructure, gender-neutral washrooms, free hydration stations and dedicated help desks.

When Do The Tickets Go Live?

Ticket sales for Lollapalooza India 2027 will begin with an exclusive pre-sale for RuPay Credit Card holders at 11 AM IST on August 30, 2026, on BookMyShow. The Early Bird ticket sale will then open at 11 AM IST on September 2, 2026 on the platform.

RuPay Credit Card holders will also have access to RuPay Amplified Access, which comes with additional perks including select food experiences, a merchandise voucher and a complimentary cocktail/mocktail voucher at designated festival bars during a specified time window.

For now, the lineup remains a mystery, but if previous editions are anything to go by, Lollapalooza India 2027 is already shaping up to be one weekend music lovers will want to keep on their calendars.
