Television actor Karan Wahi, who is known for his best on-screen performances in shows like Dill Mill Gayye and Raisinghani vs Raisinghani, recently made headlines for embracing a spiritual journey. Read on to know what he said.

Karan Wahi On Quitting Non-Veg Food

In an exclusive conversation with the Abraa Kaa Dabra Show with Paras Chabra, Karan Wahi talked about how he completely stopped eating non-vegetarian food. He also opened up about reconnecting with his spiritual side to calm down and overcome his anger. Talking on the podcast, Karan said that he recently made a decision to turn vegetarian. He said that he never thought in his life that he would give up non-vegetarian food. More than giving it up, it’s like he simply doesn’t feel like eating it anymore.

Sharing his personal experience, he further said that for the past 4-5 years, he has been having skin allergies, meaning his body used to get unusually dry from the waist down, and his hands and legs would become dry. But it’s been 3-5 months since he left non-vegetarian food, and now his skin has completely improved. He further said, “Mentally, I am very calm. I used to be very reactive earlier, but now, I have become more empathetic.”

Karan Wahi On Being Spiritual

He also talked about being spiritual and revealed a story behind wearing a Tulsi Mala. He further said that someone randomly told him 4-5 months ago in Delhi that he gets very angry, and to stay calm, he should wear a Tulsi mala. Saying that he never had such a thought and said that he was spiritual, but over time, he had drifted away from spirituality for whatever reason. But the last four to five months have been beautiful for him as he started wearing Tulsi mala from Vrindavan.

Furthermore, he also stated that naam jaap (chanting) has helped him immensely. He added that he follows Neem Karoli Baba, and through him, he was introduced to Premanand Maharaj Ji. He said that whenever he finds time, whenever he is distracted or whenever he begins to think something negative, he does the naam jaap, as it also helps him forget all his stress and worries.
