South Korea has become one of the favourite travel destinations, thanks to K-dramas, our favourite BTS, and its dreamy locations. Now, an Indian traveller has taken to social media to show just how easy it is to apply for a South Korean visa. Here’s everything you need to know.

How To Apply For A South Korea Visa?

Travel vlogger Ishita Negi (@theishitanegi) took to social media to share the process of applying for a South Korea visa. In the video, she explained that the application process is quite simple.

1. Gather the necessary documents

The travel vlogger advised applicants to gather all the required documents before applying. These include a passport, a completed online visa application form, six months’ salary slips, three years of Income Tax Returns (ITRs), three months’ bank statements, and a declaration form.

2. Enter VFS Centre

Once your documents are ready, head to the South Korea VFS centre. The good news? You usually don’t need to book an appointment in advance. According to the vlogger, most VFS centres accept walk-in applications. Also, avoid carrying electronic devices other than mobile phones.

3. Wait for your turn

At the VFS centre, you’ll be given a token number. You have to wait until your number is called. Once it’s your turn, submit your application along with your passport and other required documents.

4. Pay the fees

Once your documents are checked and everything is in place, it’s time to pay the visa fee. Applicants need to pay ₹5,130 at the VFS counter. Ishita also suggested keeping the payment receipt safe, as you might need it later while collecting your passport. Visa processing time is around two weeks.
