Coming out of an airport and finding your luggage damaged is not uncommon. Many flyers face this problem and often wonder how it happens. But a video is now going viral from O’Hare Airport, Chicago, showing handlers tossing luggage like trash on a conveyor belt. The clip has made netizens react with funny and angry remarks.

Viral Clip Shows Rough Baggage Handling At Airport

A video posted on X by @HustleBitch_ is going viral. It reportedly shows leaked footage from O’Hare International Airport’s baggage room in Chicago, USA. The clip shows handlers throwing luggage with full force onto the conveyor belt. The bags are tossed so hard that damage seems almost certain.

The post also highlights how the handlers show no hesitation or care while throwing these bags. And these are the same bags we trust with everything we pack for our trips. On top of that, many airlines still charge extra for luggage. The user ends the post by writing, “So when your bag shows up cracked open, items missing, or completely destroyed… was it ever “lost”… or just handled like this the entire time?”

Netizens React To The Video

Naturally, the post has struck a nerve with frequent flyers who have often found their luggage damaged, cracked open, or missing at airports. One user was visibly angry and wrote, “They better not do this to mine.” Another user commented, “So this is exactly what our baggage fees are funding? Good to know! It’s wild how they hold us to strict weight limits just to absolutely launch our bags into the abyss anyway. Makes me want to just FedEx my clothes.”

While some were angry, others said this is normal at most airports. One X user wrote, “Lol this is only a surprise for people who expected their luggage to be gently placed onto conveyor belts.” Many also compared baggage handling in Chicago to Japan, where airport staff carefully arrange suitcases, making it easier for passengers to pick them up from the conveyor belt.
