Imagine having a personal assistant who can book your next vacation, snag that impossible-to-get dinner reservation, send birthday gifts, and even handle your Aadhaar update, all with a few taps on your phone. That’s exactly what Swiggy Crew aims to do. After a successful pilot run, Swiggy is now expanding its concierge-style travel and lifestyle app to Bengaluru, Mumbai, and the NCR region.

Crew is designed to make life easier for busy urban professionals. Whether it’s booking a hard-to-get restaurant table, planning a complete travel itinerary, arranging a birthday party, sending gifts, updating your Aadhaar, or even organising airport transfers, Crew aims to handle it all.

Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Food Delivery at Swiggy, shared some behind-the-scenes insights about Crew on LinkedIn. He described how the idea for Crew started as casual office conversations. “When the idea of a concierge service was being discussed in the hallways and water cooler chats in the office, I jokingly asked the team, ‘Naru ki reservation milegi kya?’ They smiled and made it happen!” he wrote.

Kapoor’s post highlighted how Crew by Swiggy has already made life easier for him. Crew is evolving into the ultimate behind-the-scenes organiser, doing everything from scheduling golf courses and caddies to setting up dependable and clean taxis, getting special hotel discounts, and even buying a Hawaiian shirt. “Mujhe lagta hai that Crew is not just a service to ‘get things done’, but a service that gives you ‘time back’,” he said.
