And recently, popular chef Meghna gave an Indian twist to the dish by incorporating desi spices ( just the thought of ’em is making us drool). Here’s How To Make Chef-Style Desi Smashed Potatoes At Home

To prepare the dish, you need coriander, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, dry red chillies, cumin seeds and baby potatoes. You need the boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker and then make the dry masala using coriander, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, dry red chillies and cumin seeds. Then you simply need to shallow fry the smashed potatoes in butter, add salt and the dry masala. Once they turn crispy from both sides, your chef-style smashed potatoes are ready. You can top them up with some mayonnaise too.
