Mumbai is the one city in India with people from diverse cultures. Along with many Marwaris and Gujrati’s, Mumbai is home to Tamilians too! Mumbai definitely has a lot of restaurants serving basic Tamil food like idli, sambhar, dosa, medhu vada, but what about the Tamil Street food? You’ll hardly be able to find any stall, or eatery serving Tamilian street food. Well, no worries, now Mumbai brings a new eatery serving the most lip-smacking Tamilian street food.
Madras Mail
To introduce Tamil flavours, Madras Mail recently opened in Bandra. Madras Mail lives up to its name by serving delicious street food in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Founded by Kishore D. F, Madras Mail takes you back to a time when Madras was more than just a city, it was a cult. Several options are also available here for vegetarians. The food is excellent and you will be in love with the spread here.

Must-Try Dishes Of Madras Mail
Parrotta rolls offered are flaky and flavourful. The bean paste is made with a traditional method that has been passed down from generation to generation and is very delicious. Vegetarians can dig into some yam and potato varuval parotta rolls. Non-vegetarians can choose from plenty of options like chicken chettinad roll, mutton ghee roll and more.
We also tried their authentic and delicious sweet and savory Paniyaram made from rice and urad dal batter. The chutneys served with them are luscious. Next, we had some veg mini milk burger buns, where we got to choose our favorite pattice of our choice. It was priced at ₹225. We also tried their famous parottas like chicken kothu paratha, and mutton ghee roast parotta roll which was filled generously.
