Even though flight turbulences can happen for various reasons, one of the biggest contributors that have been on the rise for this has been climate change. The forever-changing atmosphere has contributed greatly to such and more weather catastrophes faced by the aviation industry.

While death caused by turbulence is not on the rise, it is not an unseen catastrophe. As reported by Business Insider, a passenger aboard a business jet met his untimely death due to severe turbulence, on March 4.
