This time, a Hyderabad home chef shared a recipe for the cutest Turtle Idlis on Instagram. These idlis are not just Insta-worthy but also super healthy. Read on to know more about it.

Turtle Idlis Created By Home Chef Takes Over The Internet

Rohini Deepthi Natti, a home chef, content creator and co-founder Kitki took to her Instagram handle to share a unique recipe for Turtle Idlis. She prepared this healthy and delicious recipe for her son. And it’s the cutest, most Insta-friendly idlis you may have come across. Rohini shared a reel where she is seen plucking ajwain leaves and grinding them to make a light green-coloured idli batter. Since there wasn’t any spinach at home, the content creator used ajwain leaves for the dish.

She pours the batter into an idli steamer and places almonds as ‘heads’ and sunflower seeds as the limbs and tails of the turtles. For eyes, she used black mustard seeds. Once the Turtle Idlis came out of the steamer, she sliced the almonds in a way that resembled tiny turtles opening their mouths. Next, Rohini placed small pieces of Ajwain leaves in them where it looked like the turtles were feeding on greens. She paired the Turtle Idlis with podi (dry spice mix) made by her father.
