Our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani was invited to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal at Tusshar’s Juhu home and she spoke to him about his life as a single parent, growing up as a superstar’s son, his career, and more. Tusshar Kapoor Opens Up About His Family, Career & More
In the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, Kamiya Jani stepped into Tusshar Kapoor’s home and gave his fans an insight into his life. Tusshar revealed that he started living alone in 2019 and has since been enjoying the solitude and independence that comes with it.
When we asked him about who the biggest foodie in the Kapoor clan is, he shared that he was a glutton but has lately adopted healthy eating habits. Growing up in a Punjabi-Sindhi house, Tusshar shared that he grew up eating a lot of dal pakwan, parathas, atta halwa, sooji halwa, and moong dal halwa. However, he was never really into Sindhi cuisine and grew up eating a lot of Punjabi food.
Over a delicious meal, Tusshar Kapoor spoke about growing up as Jeetendra’s son, moving a lot as a child, and having a rather lonely teen years. He also spoke about his relationship with his sister Ektaa Kapoor, and how they used to fight a lot growing up.
Did you know that Tusshar actually planned on staying in the USA after his studies and getting into the corporate world? Well, due to some visa issues, he had to come back to India and then decided to join the film industry as he always loved movies.
Besides his movies, Tusshar also hit headlines a few years back when he decided to become a single father. He shared that he did not even tell his parents about his decision and decided to go ahead with this because he realised that being married or not, he wanted to be a father and he had to make that decision in his late 30s.

What The Sunday Brunch Menu Looked Like
So, what was on the Sunday Brunch menu at Tusshar Kapoor’s home? The menu consisted of Aloo Methi, Dal, Makhani Paneer, Chicken Masala, Bhindi, and rice, and it was all delicious! While we enjoyed a wide spread of food, Tusshar Kapoor ate quinoa, paneer sabzi, and a mixed vegetable sabzi. His meal was a mix of proteins, carbs, and everything nice. In fact, even when he is travelling, he makes sure to keep his meals healthy and well-balanced. He revealed that his mindful eating has helped him “reverse age” and look even better than he did when he made his debut more than two decades ago.
