India is a diverse land with a vast variety of cuisines and food. There are more than a thousand dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The country hosts a large number of people who are vegetarian. However, food should be the choice of the individual. No one can be forced to eat something that they don’t like. But one such instance happened with Swiggy order. The woman took to Twitter to share the incident of finding a piece of meat in veg biryani.
Piece Of Meat In Veg Biryani
If you’re a strict vegetarian (like me) think twice before ordering from @Swiggy !
I ordered biriyani rice with aloo which is clearly MARKED AS VEGETARIAN on the platform and I found a piece of meat (could be chicken, mutton or anything!) in the rice.

A woman named Natasha Bharadwaj tweeted the incident of her Swiggy order blunder. She states that she had ordered aloo biryani which was marked as vegetarian. Despite the vegetarian mark, she found a piece of meat in it.
Further, she points out that the delivery executives are least bothered about the order they are supposed to pick up. They have no idea why the food is marked as veg or non-veg. In addition to this, Swiggy’s policies state that the customer will have to speak with the restaurant directly if they have any issues. The customer service further requested her to share the feedback and they will forward it to the restaurant.

And she suggested that people who follow a strict vegetarian diet should think twice before ordering from Swiggy. In addition to the tweet, she has posted images of her order, what she received and a screen recording of her chats with customer care.
Advised To File A Complaint
Complaint to Swiggy then Lodge a complaint with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) then File a consumer complaint after that you can file a civil suit against @Swiggy for breach of contract & claim compensation for the mental harassment for wrong delivery.
