Union Day was celebrated with great pomp and show across the seven Emirates of the UAE. A day that marked the unification of the emirates to make it into one unified nation, this day has been etched into the history of the nation. So joining together on the joyous occasion of these celebrations, different departments of the UAE did something special in their own way to commemorate the important day. Take a look!

Here’s What The Celebrations Looked Like Around The World

1. Dubai Municipality’s headquarters were decorated with the UAE flag colours on the occasion of the 52nd Union Day.

2. Official celebrations of the 52nd Federation Day of the UAE happened amid the international delegates at the headquarters of the Conference of the Parties.

3. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the celebrations of the 52nd Union Day. It was titled A Journey towards a Sustainable Tomorrow.

4. Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi honoured the UAE’s 52nd Union Day by celebrating its unity, progress, and excellence.

5. Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba commemorated the day and people could explore different pavilions of other countries, engage in children’s activities, and even enjoy daily shows and special events.
