UAE Devices Plans For Reopening Nurseries, Childcare Centres

UAE is unlocking slowly, and after reopening religious places of worship and schools in some areas the country is all set to reopen nurseries and childcare centres. Recently, the Ministry of Education and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced that the nurseries could reopen by following preventive safety protocols. However, approval for the opening of nurseries and childcare centres will depend on the safety and health measures taken by the authorities.

Staff Must Get Covid-19 Tests Done In Every Two Weeks

For the safety of children and staff, a set of precautionary measures will be put forth in place. Measures like temperature checks, monitoring the movement of staff and parents’ entries to nurseries will be in place. Additionally, the workers will undergo the covid-19 test every two weeks. Whereas, the health status of all the children will also be checked regularly.

Sterilisation Of Toys Mandatory In Nurseries & Childcare Centres

Other sets of measures include regular sterilisation and hygiene checks of the area and maintenance of 1.5-meter distance. Also, sterilisation of toys and games, and division of children based on their age groups. The measures also include that the sterilised toys shouldn’t be shared between the kids. Furthermore, parents should provide meals for the younger ones. 

To make sure that all the safety standards are in place, authorities will inspect nurseries timely. Penalties will be forced on institutions that violate health and safety rules. They will also be allowed to work from home so that they can take care of their children.
