The UAE has just announced that it is going to be offering visa on arrival and longer stay periods to more Indians. Yes, but there are some conditions for this. Here’s what you need to know!
Visa On Arrival For More Indians
Now, more Indians can apply for visa on arrival in the UAE. As announced by the Federal Authority For Identity And Citizenship, Customs & Port Security. This was announced on Thursday, October 17, which now allows Indian nationals who hold tourist visa to the UK and countries will get a visa on arrival. It’s brilliant development as previously this was only available to people who helped residents or tourist visas to the US as well as those with residences for the countries in the year and the UK.
As reported by the Khaleej Times, it was mentioned that the applicant’s visa and passport will be valid for at least six months. Additionally, the authority has also mentioned that a 60-day visa will now be issued for AED250 to those Indians who are eligible to travel. In fact, an updated fee schedule for services has also been announced by the authority.

What About The Fee?
As it happens, the visa issuance fee will be for 14-day entry visa for Indian nationals and their family members. So, this includes those who hold visas, residences, or green cards from the US, the UK, and EU countries. It’s set at AED100. While the fee for extending the visa by an additional 14 days is AED250. However, for AED250, 60-day that can also be issued.
This option for visa on arrival has come just in time with the advent of winter. With winter vacations days away, many Indian nationals decide to take a vacation with the family in the UAE. Not to mention, it’s going to bolster ties between the two nations.
