ICP Announces Health Insurance With Visa
According to a recent announcement by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, soon health insurance for tourist visas will be introduced for people visiting the emirates. Amongst its transformative projects, it was mentioned by Major-General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, who is the director-general of the authority that this will allow tourists to get health insurance when they apply for their visa online. As revealed in a report by the Khaleej Times, this would be through the ICP website or even the app. In fact, the aim of the project is to offer health coverage in case of emergencies. It will, as a result, automate the process of getting health insurance via an electronic platform from all major insurance companies in the UAE.
