The search data accumulated from September till early December shows that travellers in the UAE especially prefer destinations like the United Kingdom, India, and Thailand. These choices are hardly surprising as they are in any way popular destinations amongst expats and people who are looking to take a relaxing vacation.

For instance, people looking for a festive getaway can opt for the United Kingdom as Christmas vibes hit differently in the country. While there are many expats from countries like India, who might be planning to go to their home as currently schools are also on a break. In fact, cities like London, Bangkok and Istanbul are gaining quite a lot of traffic from the UAE. A major reason for this is the fact that it offers a blend of cultural experiences that travellers can savour.

Additionally, travellers are looking to maximise the holiday by extending their vacation.
