Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who is the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah recently announced his plans to build stadiums for the Kalba Club and Khorfakkan Club. Yes, according to a report by the Arabian Business, it was mentioned that the Sharjah clubs were commended on their performances in the UAE ADNOC League for the 2023-24 Season As a result, they were offered stadiums in cooler pastures. Yes, it was revealed that the stadium for Kalba Club would be at an elevation of 850 feet above sea level while the same for Khorfakkan Club will be at 900 feet.

At this point, it’s worth noting that these clubs are quite important for the people, as they also represent the identity of their respective towns in the UAE. It was revealed on a phone call on Sharjah Radio and TV direct line programme, wherein the ruler mentioned that there would be awards for the performance.

He mentioned that with the stadium for the Kalba Club situated at 850 feet above sea level, there will be a temperature difference of 10° and there will be humidity-free conditions. All of this is bound to influence their performance. Similarly, the stadium for Khorfakkann Club is currently in a hot location. As a result, another stadium will be built in Khorfakkan City, which will be situated at 900 feet.

It’s worth noting that the emblem of the clubs should reflect and represent the city that belongs to. So, once the two teams get their new stadiums, it is bound to affect their performances.
