The internationally known ride-hailing company Uber is all set to launch an ‘Uber Yacht’ on the island of Ibiza in Spain. This is being done primarily to meet the growing demand that an increase in tourism in Europe has resulted. In addition to Uber Yacht, the company is also planning to launch limo boats. Here are all of the important details that you would need to know about this new venture by the famous ride-hailing service.
Uber Will Soon Launch ‘Uber Yacht’ In Ibiza In Spain
According to an article which was recently published by CNBC, this particular ride-hailing service announced a new yacht service in Ibiza. This comes mainly from the high tourist demands in these regions.
As per the official data from the company, the demand for mobility services by Uber increased by a whopping 55 per cent in 2023 alone. This was the case for major tourist hotspots like Greece, Spain and more.
The Uber Yacht service will be available for pre-booking from July 26, 2024 onwards. Tourists will be able to avail the pre-booked yachts in August. As of now, Uber offers Uber Boat which provides transportation by water.

Limo Boats Also In The Pipeline Of The Ride-Hailing Company
In addition to the Uber Yachts in Ibiza, the ride-hailing company is also planning on soon launching limo boats in Venice, Italy. The service will begin in late July. Once the service starts, tourists will be able to avail of this service around the Venetian Canals.
It is hoped that once these two new services commence, tourists will find transportation on water more convenient than ever before. Venice as well as Ibiza are two of the most popular European tourist destinations on the planet.
