We indeed live in an era of over-the-top (OTT) viewing of action, drama, and thriller content featuring many times unappealing storylines. Storytelling is an art not known to many, but those who have mastered it leave a part of themselves in every story they craft. If you want to embrace this culture and storytelling art, you should keep an eye out for this event. The sixth edition of the Udaipur Tales-International Storytelling Festival, which was started by Sushmita Singha and Salil Bhandari, will take place from January 10 to 12, 2025. This festival will include some of the greatest and most unique storytellers in the world.
Udaipur Tales-International Storytelling Festival Revives An Ancient Art
Every year, the festival features the art of storytelling with narrators, writers, and enthusiasts from all backgrounds. It includes interesting and engaging workshops and performances that highlight cultural history. The goal of this event is to revive the centuries-old craft of storytelling. By enabling participants to share their experiences and tales, the festival creates a lively forum for artistic expression and encourages creativity and cross-cultural interaction.
While communication has expanded in the current digital era, its quality has declined. By combining tales from teachers, family elders, and childhood experiencdes, Udaipur Tales brings oral storytelling back to life. These tales restore humanity and evoke tears and laughter while fostering happiness, wonder, sorrow, humour, and emotional connection. They restore humanity, touch hearts, and foster connections.
