Jamavar London is the first international outlet of the chain. The Father-daughter duo, Dinesh and Samyukta Nair co-founded the restaurant in 2016. LSL CAPITAL conceptualised the Indian fine dining restaurant, located on Mayfair’s renowned Mount street.
The founders of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts in India originally created this gastronomical paradise. Jamavar first opened its gates at The Leela Palace Bengaluru in 2001. The restaurant won considerable critical and international glory; among other awards. Moreover, Forbes USA named it among the World’s Top 10 Power Dining Spots.
Gradually, five more restaurants opened in different cities in India. And from there on it became eminent for its luxurious pan-Indian cuisine. A favourite among diners, Jamavar London became the first international outpost to open doors in 2016. Soon after in 2021, Jamavar made its debut in Doha.
The 16th-century lace shawls of Kashmir inspired the name—Jamavar. The Michelin-star restaurant makes for an exquisite fine dining experience. It’s an exemplar of the rich and diverse culinary traditions of India.
