1. Bhuigaon Beach

If you wish to spend a serene day with your family, friends or loved ones, Bhuigaon beach is the one you should visit. It is a beautiful unexplored beach with scenic beauty at its best. The beach also has a section where there are so many tall narrow trees and a lot of greenery around. It is surely a photographer’s paradise. 

2. Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

Tungareshwar wildlife sanctuary also known as Tungareshwar National Park stretches over 85 km and connects Sanjay Gandhi National Park to Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary. It is situated at a height of 2177 feet from the base of the hill. The sanctuary is extremely rich in biodiversity with more than 250 species of birds, 600 species of plants and 150 species of butterflies. 

3. Bassein Fort

Bassein Fort is also known as Vasai Fort. In the Indo-Portuguese era, this structure was formally designated as the Fort of St Sebastian. Listed as a monument of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India, the fort is protected by the department. You can visit this place for a picnic with your family or just to explore the beauty of the place. 

4. Suruchi beach

This is a very isolated beach and is one of the unexplored beauties in Vasai. The beach is very clean and serene. It is a perfect choice if you want to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach is quite close to Vasai fort. 

5. Tungareshwar Temple

Tungareshwar temple is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Vasai. It is at a height of 2177 feet on the highest plateau of Tungareshwar. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to trek up to the temple. The surrounding around the temple gives you the most tranquil vibes.
