UAE Golden Visa Holders, The Return Document Explained

If a Golden Visa holder loses or damages their passport overseas, MoFA can issue an emergency Return Document. It’s valid for a single journey and must be used within seven days of issuance, essentially your fast track back to the UAE without getting stuck in a foreign bureaucracy loop. Alongside this, Golden Visa holders have access to a dedicated 24-hour hotline for consular enquiries and emergency assistance while travelling.
MoFA’s Pre-Trip Checklist
Beyond emergencies, MoFA’s advisory doubles as a solid pre-departure checklist for anyone travelling this summer. Confirm outbound and return flight bookings, and make sure passports are valid for at least six months.
