Here’s The Recipe For This Savoury Mutton Preparation
Ingredients:
- Oil
- Bay leaves
- Cloves
- Cardamom
- Mace
- Red chillies
- Ginger garlic paste
- Mutton
- Onions
- Soaked cashew nuts
- Coconut powder
- Green chillies
- Nutmeg
- Curd
- Ghee
- Turmeric powder
- Red chilli powder
- Jeera powder
- Coriander powder
- Salt
- Cream
- Water
Method:
- Start cooking Lucknowi Mutton Korma by tempering bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, mace, and red chillies in oil and ghee. Next, fry ginger garlic paste.
- Add mutton pieces to the tempered spices and cook everything well.
- Add curd to mutton and cook for some time.
- In the next step, fry onions till they are perfectly brown.
- Once birista is prepared, transfer it to a mixer grinder and blend it with soaked cashew nuts, coconut powder, green chillies, and nutmeg.
- Next, add ghee to a pressure cooker and pour the birista mixture. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder, coriander powder, and salt and saute for a few minutes.
- Next, transfer the mutton to the cooker and add cream and water.
- Cook till the meat softens and serve authentic Lucknowi Mutton Korma.
