Did you know that there lived an Indian princess who travelled across borders and became the Queen there? This is the fairy tale story of Princess Suriratna of Ayodhya. The Indian princess travelled overseas and married King Kim Suro of Korea and later became Queen Heo Hwang-ok. This is the story of 48AD, around 2000 years ago. And now India will be home to the ‘Queen Heo Memorial Park’ very soon in the month of October.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath To Inaugurate Queen Heo Memorial Park

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the ‘Queen Heo Memorial Park’ during the auspicious celebrations of Diwali on 23 October 2022. Very high-level delegates from South Korea will be present at the inauguration on Diwali eve. The UP Chief Minister and Kim Jong-sook, the then first lady of South Korea set the foundation stone of the memorial of the Queen Heo Hwang-ok during the Deepotsav celebrations in 2018.
