World-acclaimed, multi-award-winning athlete Usain Bolt laced up his trainers on November 13 at Expo 2020 Dubai. As part of a 1.45-kilometre family-run to raise funds for charity. The family-run kicked off at the Russia pavilion at 9:30 am.

The Multi-Award Winning Athlete Collaborated For A Cause To Motivate Millions

The 11th time world champion & 8th time Olympic gold medalist coacted with Gatorade and the Sports, Fitness and Wellbeing Hub at Expo. For the event which will profit Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination. Indeed, a noble sports meet! The run was accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Free to join, although participants were encouraged to donate to the cause. One needed to pre-register online to save space at the starting line.

The Dubai Fitness Challenge Initiated The Run & It Was An Unbelievable Opportunity

The chief marketing, communication & sales officer for Expo 2020 Dubai had a thoughtful prospect about the happening. He shared that sports carried the enduring power to bring people, communities & nations together. That, they were honoured that Usain Bolt agreed to be a part of the Run the World event. He further added that this act will rightly urge & stimulate many people to run for their good causes.

The Man Of The Honour Made His Way To The Town & The Fans Were Insane Seeing Him

The Jamaican runner met some of his biggest fans after the event at the Gatorade the Bolt pavilion. Located in the Mobility District. Fans were invited to learn more about a competition to meet Bolt in person. The same was made known through Gatorade Arabia’s Instagram page. One of those who joined hands & ran with Bolt was Emirati athlete Hamda Hosani. She owns 17 Special Olympic medals under her belt. Hosani, who has epilepsy, proudly works to encourage children to embrace sports. She even inspires people to challenge their misconceptions around differently-abled athletes. She met Bolt on a surprise zoom call ahead of his visit. That way he invited her to run alongside him at the event. What a treasured moment! In fact, to further break the ice, even Kris Fade, an Australian Lebanese radio presenter, host & musician, joined the run alongside Bolt.
