Right now, the makeover and the process of getting ready is going on in full swing. As shared in the video from the factory, the metro train is orange in colour from the outside and comes with huge windows. Unlike the express train taking passengers to distances far away, the metro will provide services connecting cities that are less than 100 km in distance, according to a report by Punjab Kesari.

As shared by Indian Tech & Infra (@IndianTechGuide), Vande Metro will start operating and providing services to commuters in 2024. The journey will be for regular inter-city transportation. Covering short distances, the new mode of transportation is expected to be beneficial for passengers.
- Vande Metro will have 10 coaches.
- As per Punjab Kesari, the train will operate on hydrogen fuel.
- Like other metros operating in different Indian cities, Vande Metro will be air-conditioned as well.
- There will be self-closing doors, bigger seats, and a lot of space inside the train.
