Unfortunately, there are many external factors that can harshly impact these journeys. According to several reports, a Varanasi-bound flight received a bomb threat on May 28.
Indigo Flight From Delhi To Varanasi Got A Bomb Threat

This IndiGo flight from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport to Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport was supposed to take off as per the schedule. All the passengers boarded the plane and the flight was ready for take-off. But soon the entire plan changed as the Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight 6E2211 reported a bomb threat at 5:35 AM.
Right after getting to know about the shocking threat, the concerned staff came near the flight and started to evacuate every passenger onboard. All the 176 passengers deboarded the aircraft safely. They came out of the plane from the emergency exit, according to a report by The Indian Express. Videos of people deboarding from the emergency exit are making rounds on social media platforms.
Soon, IndiGo released a statement. It mentioned that the airline followed the necessary protocols and rules of security agencies and later took the aircraft to a remote area. The concerned teams inspected the aircraft and conducted proper security checks. According to a report by The News Minute, the bomb threat was a hoax.

How Did Everyone Find Out About The Scary News?
The police stated that there was a piece of paper in the plane’s lavatory. The paper piece mentioned “Bomb@360”, according to The Indian Express report. This caused major panic and chaos among everyone, from crew to passengers to officials. Following proper security checks and an inspection, the bomb threat on the IndiGo flight was declared fake.
