Have you ever encountered a celebrity in almost mundane set-ups like airports or malls? Well, April 25 was a special day for some of Rajinikanth’s fans who flew on IndiGo Airlines. In a viral video posted by a fellow passenger, the South Indian superstar was seen entering the plane to be seated in the front. He received a warm welcome from pleasantly surprised fans.

An X user, Paaru Kumudha Pathikum, posted a video of actor Rajinikanth entering an IndiGo flight. Just like her, other passengers didn’t expect in their wildest dreams to see the legend seated on the same plane as them. The airline crew is seen ushering the actor in. And widely smiling on noticing the warmest reactions from passengers. Many screamed “Thalaivar” and waved their hands at him. The Jailer actor warmly responded with his signature grin.

He waved back at the passengers. Many instantly pulled out their mobile phones and started recording the special moment. Flying Economy Class on IndiGo, Rajinikanth nonchalantly sat on the window seat in the first aisle. The reactions from passengers, shocked, in disbelief and utterly delighted, had netizens wishing they could experience the euphoria for a bit.

As the Robot actor walked into the aircraft, the flight instantly transformed into a cinema hall. Screaming, excited fans greeted the actor cheerfully. Pathikum commented that she was crying, shivering, and her heart was beating faster than ever to get a glimpse of her favourite actor, the legend, Rajinikanth.

Netizens took to the comments section of this post to share their reactions, as many hoped they could bump into their favourite celebs while travelling. Some called the passengers lucky, others admired his smile, while many hailed the actor’s humility to fly Economy Class on IndiGo, a budget airline.
