On this exciting episode of Sunday Brunch Vidya Balan joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. We were delighted to have such a charming and down-to-earth personality at brunch and discussed childhood memories, Mumbai food recommendations, her film successes and failures and more. She is an entertaining personality and you wouldn’t want to miss out on this exciting episode. Watch the entire video below.
Shilpa Shetty Taught Vidya Balan To Dribble A Basketball
Vidya Balan and Kamiya Jani, both are from Chembur and they are proud to be Chembur girls. We certainly wanted to know about some of Vidya’s childhood memories. She told us that she lived in Chembur since she was born. She went to St. Anthony Girls’ High School. Any Curly Tales followers from this school, comment down below.
Guess who else also went to the same school as Vidya? Shilpa Shetty! It turns out that Shilpa Shetty was Vidya’s senior by a few years. Shilpa was a basketball player and Vidya was forced to attend basketball sessions because her mother decided that she should learn how to play basketball. So, Vidya learnt how to dribble a basketball from Shilpa. It truly is such a small world!

She was sent to play basketball at 6 in the morning and that’s when she got to learn to dribble a basketball from the hottie of the school, Shilpa. Now, we wish we could learn how to dribble from Shilpa as well! Surprisingly, Chembur is a talent hub for Bollywood as Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora, and, of course, Vidya Balan all come from Chembur.
These Are Her Pet Peeves
We wanted to know what are those irritating attributes of others that might set off this cute person with a charming and bubbly personality. She replied that she simply hates when people are unnecessarily impolite to her. She also gets irritated when she is taken for granted by people who are only looking for ways to get their work done. Please don’t upset Vidya Balan for petty reasons.
