There were a series of tweets from his account that brought him back in news. He mentioned that he still wants to pay the banks that lent money to the Kingfisher Airlines and that too in full. He further said that he wants to pay the Kingfisher employees and other creditors and move on in life. The funniest part of the tweet where he was said ‘Please take the money’.

Vijay Mallya was charged with fraud and money laundering charges worth 9,000 crores. He did not pay the employees, pilot and the staff of Kingfisher Airline and fled to the United Kingdoms as the Indian authorities would not have been able to exercise their rights and carry out criminal procedure against him.
