Scroll to read on.

Vikas Khanna Shared A Hilarious Childhood Incident

We were on a food trail in Bandra East with Vikas. We played a fun game while waiting for our Chinese and North Indian food items at Chef’s Platter. One of the questions was about his childhood mischievousness and whether he was scolded for it. Vikas explained that his sister, Radhika Khanna, was naughtier than he was!

He told us that Radhika would deliberately include him in her mischievous plans. He recalled one incident where both devoured a bunch of imli ke pede from a vendor and fell sick. The reason? Well, he shared that the peda vendor had epic marketing skills and his grandmother fell for it.

The seller would shout out slogans about how buying and consuming the delicious Imli pedas helps to excel in studies. He also told us that he and his sister were not academically inclined, so their grandmother suggested that they eat that peda and try their luck. Did they succeed?

If your grandmother suggests something, especially out of love, then you have to do it. Right? So, both brother and sister obeyed their grandmother and ate lots of pedas from the vendor. After consuming it, they fell severely ill! So much so that both of them had to repeat their class!

He said, “This is a fact aur bohot maar padhi thi iss baat ke liye,” meanwhile Kamiya couldn’t stop giggling uncontrollably. Umm, looks like the peda vendor scammed them with his slogans!
