Gabriel is the French chef and Emily’s love interest in Netflix’s Emily in Paris. He works at a Parisian restaurant with characteristic blood-red exteriors which is often shown in the series. His restaurant was named ‘Les Deux Compères’, ‘Chez Lavaux’ and finally, ‘L’Esprit de Gigi’. However, in real life, this restaurant goes by the name and it’s Terra Nera!

Terra Nera, a now-famous restaurant, is remarkably similar to the way it is portrayed in the series. The decor is Parisian vibes with shades of blood-red, gold and white dominating its space. It also has a simple outside seating arrangement; although, the only difference is the menu. Hence, it is an Italian restaurant and not a French one!

What is fantastic about Gabriel’s restaurant in real life is that they have curated a special course honouring Emily in Paris! The die-hard fans will order this special course without scanning anything else on the menu. It starts with the classic Americano followed by an appetizer consisting of fresh burrata Pugliese and juicy Sicilian cherry tomatoes.
Along with that, the main dish is Emily’s b**f tagliata, as seen in season 1, and more. The final item is the tasty Italian dessert, tiramisu. It is truly going to be a gastronomical adventure in Paris!
