In a bizarre turn of events, a video of a couple getting married on a train has now gone viral on the Internet. According to an article which was recently published by News18, the incident reportedly took place on the Asansol-Jasidih Train however, the report is not verified. However, people are reacting in a variety of ways to the video.
After all, it is not every day that an occurrence like this happens. However, it should be noted that despite all the fun being poked at the situation, the couple in the video do not seem to be in a very cheery mood. As a matter of fact, they seem pretty sombre. Perhaps, there was some issue or emergency which made the couple get married.
Be that as it may, the video still provoked a lot of laughter and jokes because if there is one thing that the Internet is good at, it is making jokes and puns about such uncommon situations. In the video, the couple is seen first draping varmalas around each others’ necks and then the guy ties a mangalsutra around the lady’s neck.

This unusual venue and ceremony provoked a lot of jokes and one-liners from Netizens. Many people jokingly said that this is what modern fast-paced life has come to. People don’t have time to even get married so they get married on the go. Yet others wonder, now that the ceremony was done, where the suhagrat would take place.
Some jokingly asked if the other passengers would be asked to leave the compartment for the night. Some even said that after seeing the video, they, too, will travel on trains more often in the hopes of getting married. One commenter even said that he would carry sindoor, mangal sutra and varmalas with him every time he travels on a train now.
