Witnessing the parade is an experience that leaves an indelible mark. This year, two defence force contingents made up entirely of women will participate. This is to highlight the advancement of women in the military.
Additionally, a variety of tableaux representing the cultures, histories, and accomplishments of the several states and union territories will be featured in the parade. How To Watch The Republic Day Parade Live?

Republic Day Parade 2024 ticket sales will be available online starting on January 10, 2024, and running through January 25, 2024. As a result, it is best to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
Here’s how to buy online:
- Go to the Ministry of Defence’s official website.
- Enter your name, email address, date of birth, and mobile number to log in or create an account. You can select from the FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, or Beating the Retreat.Select the occasion using the drop-down menu.
- For each ticket, complete the attendee details, including name, gender, age, address, and photo ID.
- Decide which category and how many tickets you wish to purchase. Three different ticket prices are starting from Rs 500 onwards.
- On the day of the event, bring your original photo ID evidence and the e-ticket that you downloaded and printed. To enter the venue, you must scan the QR code at the entry gate.
You can purchase tickets offline too:
- For Republic Day festivities, go to an official retailer or the appropriate ticket counter.
- Present both your original and a photocopy of your ID at the counter.
- Select the category and quantity of tickets you wish to purchase.
- On the day of the event, bring your original photo ID evidence and your tickets.
