The 58th Vande Bharat Express, which was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 15, 2024, has now seen a significant upgrade. According to The Indian Express, the train is operated under the South Eastern Railway (SER) zone, which originally had fewer coaches. However, with the growing demand during the festive season, the Railways have increased the train’s coach count to 16, from the usual eight. This increase will allow more passengers to travel comfortably without having to compromise on space or convenience.

This new decision is a part of Indian Railways’ efforts to improve passengers’ experience. By adding more coaches, the Indian Railways has taken a commendable step toward enhancing the train’s seating capacity and improving passenger convenience. Also, with this, more people can enjoy the premium experience of these modernly developed trains.
